However, certain additional tasks may require more time and effort beyond our standard scope.

Time-Consuming Cleaning Tasks: Real-Life Examples

To help set realistic expectations, here are common heavy-duty cleaning tasks and the time they typically require:

1. Sticker & Adhesive Removal

  • First Example: Removing children’s stickers or tape residue from doors/windows.
  • Why it takes time: Peeling carefully to avoid paint damage + using solvent to dissolve glue.
  • Time needed: 30+ minutes per door (for 10+ stickers).

2. Stubborn Stain Scrubbing

  • Second Example: Move Out Cleaning, Dried coffee spills or curry stains on tiles, luaggage wheels stains on parquet floors.
  • Why it takes time: Requires soaking, scrubbing, and repeat treatments.
  • Time needed: 1 minute per 5cm x 5cm area (e.g., a 1 meter x 1 meter stain = over 3+ hours by hand).

3. Plaster Bagworm

  • Third Example: Move Out Cleaning, Removal of plaster bagworms or insect droppings on ceilings/ corners or walls.

Why This Matters?

  • A standard 4-hour cleaning covers deep cleaning tasks (mopping, dusting, cleaning and wiping).
  • The above tasks can add 1-3 extra hours, hence the $85/hour charge.

Move Out Cleaning Additional Charges

To accommodate such cases, an additional charge of $85 per hour will apply for extra tasks beyond the estimated cleaning hours. We assure you that our team will work efficiently to complete the cleaning within the scheduled time. However, tasks requiring extra effort may extend the duration.
